Our Kiln Services.
Kiln Dimensions.
Our Kiln is available for use to all artists in and around Orange County, CA. The dimensions of our Kiln is a Half Shelf: 13” x 26” x 5/8” with a 3 inch of height clearance each 1/2 shelf.
Half Shelf.
Our available kiln firing starts with a half shelf rental of $20 per half shelf. The half shelf has a 4 inch height clearance. Want to get more details? Submit a “Get Firing” request below.
Full Kiln.
For a more advanced artist or multiple pieces, we offer a full kiln firing at a rate of $150 per full firing. Want to get more details? Submit a “Get Firing” request below.
Rules to Abide.
We are a community of artists who thrive off building a community. Part of that is following our rules while using our studio and equipment. Check out our firing rules here.
Info Sheet: We require you to fill out and leave behind a piece of paper with your info upon arrival as well as provide payment.
Firing schedules: Firing schedules can change based on the amount of work to be fired.
Clay and glazes: We require you to show proof that the clay or glaze is cone 5/6.
Work placement: We require you to place your work on the appropriate shelves and carts or wait for staff to attend to you.
Work removal: We require you to pick up your finished work within a certain time frame, at most 1 month after firing.
Work cleanliness: We require you to clean your work before firing, such as wiping the bottom and removing the glaze.
Work labeling: We require you to label your work before dropping them off.
Please note that pictures of pieces dropped off might be taken and posted on our social channels. By using our studio, you grant us permission to the use of photographs and videos to be used for any legal use, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising, social media, and web content.
