Winter Solstice Somatic Ceremony | 120 min
The Winter Equinox is the longest night of the year and the invitation is to gather and ground down as we transition into the light. The holidays can be overwhelming and often hard for us to take that truly nourishing pause so that we can bring intention, gratitude and presence as we move into the new year. This gathering will be a space for you to reflect in the community, express yourself through movement of your breath and body, and envision the light you want to bring into your life.
Event Journey:
30 Mins - Opening Circle: A time to connect with the community, share the intention of the container, and offer time for some self reflection before beginning practices.
25 Min - Somatic Movement (Free form dancing)
35 Min - Breathwork (three part breath)
15 Mins - Integration: A time for self reflection and processing
15 Min - Closing Circle: A time to share in community.
Expect to leave feeling profoundly replenished in your connection to both yourself and others. Community is crucial in our healing journey; by giving yourself permission to be fully seen and heard, you'll be amazed by the sense of belonging that unfolds. By turning inward, you'll deepen your relationship with your inner wisdom and desires, empowering you to navigate life with greater clarity and self-assurance.
What To Bring: Wear comfortable clothes, bring an item that you would like to contribute to our altar, an eye mask if you like for breathwork, a journal for reflection after, and of course water (hydration for the win).
