Discover the history and philosophy of kintsugi to repair ceramics using gold dust, and patience as we guide you through every step of the way. Learn how to create a restoration pottery piece using the gold relief technique and the gold flush technique. You will first break your already prepped dry ceramic and then piece it back together with gold lining.

All materials are provided during the workshop. No previous experience is required to take the course, all you need is the curiosity to learn this ancient art.

In collaboration with Nicole Smolinski, mental health professional & author of Finding My Way Back: Poems on Coming Alive, Healing & Self-Discovery, this is an experiential ceramics workshop combining inner reflective exercises and conscious conversation with clay work to help you explore the symbolism of our seasonal theme.
